Las obras buscan mejorar la movilidad, aumentar la seguridad vial y potenciar el desarrollo social y econ\u00f3mico en beneficio de m\u00e1s de <strong data-start=\"453\" data-end=\"472\">15 650 personas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"477\" data-end=\"514\">Reconstrucci\u00f3n vial en San Mateo<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"856\">En San Mateo se intervino la <strong data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"577\">ruta cantonal Calle La Quinta<\/strong>, con 2 530 metros de extensi\u00f3n en los distritos de Jes\u00fas Mar\u00eda y Labrador. La obra requiri\u00f3 \u20a1342,7 millones, de los cuales \u20a1200 millones fueron aportados por el Inder y el resto por la municipalidad. Este camino estrat\u00e9gico conecta con rutas nacionales y el puerto de Caldera.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"1099\">En Desmonte tambi\u00e9n se mejor\u00f3 el <strong data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"910\">camino La Uni\u00f3n<\/strong>, con una inversi\u00f3n de \u20a1325,5 millones. El Inder aport\u00f3 \u20a1147 millones y el gobierno local \u20a1178,5 millones. El Inder contribuy\u00f3 con \u20a1605,7 millones y el resto la municipalidad. La inversi\u00f3n ascendi\u00f3 a \u20a11084,4 millones, de los cuales el Inder aport\u00f3 \u20a1493,8 millones. Esta intervenci\u00f3n beneficia a cerca de <strong data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"1823\">2000 habitantes<\/strong>, fortaleciendo actividades agr\u00edcolas, ganaderas y tur\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1889\" data-end=\"1918\">Compromiso institucional<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1919\" data-end=\"2245\">Ricardo Quesada, presidente ejecutivo del Inder, afirm\u00f3 que estas inversiones <strong data-start=\"1997\" data-end=\"2070\">ratifican el compromiso de la instituci\u00f3n con las comunidades rurales<\/strong>. Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que las obras no solo modernizan la infraestructura vial, sino que tambi\u00e9n representan una palanca para dinamizar la econom\u00eda regional y mejorar la calidad de
