En <strong data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"908\">Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe<\/strong>, cerca del <strong data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"997\">31% de los casos diagnosticados corresponden a mujeres menores de 50 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, lo que evidencia la urgencia de fortalecer las estrategias preventivas.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1077\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1145\"><strong data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1145\">Educaci\u00f3n y vigilancia: pilares para reducir la mortalidad<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1147\" data-end=\"1465\">El Ministerio de Salud destac\u00f3 que el <strong data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1217\">autoexamen peri\u00f3dico de mama<\/strong> permite identificar cambios f\u00edsicos que podr\u00edan ser se\u00f1ales tempranas de la enfermedad. Asimismo, record\u00f3 que las <strong data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1387\">mamograf\u00edas deben realizarse al menos cada dos a\u00f1os<\/strong>, especialmente en mujeres con factores de riesgo o antecedentes familiares.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1524\">Entre las recomendaciones se subraya la importancia de:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1891\">\n<li data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1581\">\n<p data-start=\"1527\" data-end=\"1581\">Realizar el <strong data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1561\">autoexamen de mama<\/strong> de forma regular.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1582\" data-end=\"1664\">\n<p data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1664\">Someterse a <strong data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1623\">mamograf\u00edas preventivas<\/strong> cada dos a\u00f1os o seg\u00fan criterio m\u00e9dico.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1751\">\n<p data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1751\">Informar al personal de salud sobre <strong data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1730\">antecedentes familiares<\/strong> de c\u00e1ncer de mama.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1891\">\n<p data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1891\">Recordar que <strong data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1825\">los hombres tambi\u00e9n pueden desarrollar esta enfermedad<\/strong>, por lo que deben consultar ante cualquier cambio en sus mamas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1893\" data-end=\"1896\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"1953\"><strong data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"1953\">Estilo de vida saludable como medida preventiva<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2257\">Las autoridades recordaron que un <strong data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2019\">estilo de vida equilibrado<\/strong> puede reducir significativamente el riesgo de desarrollar c\u00e1ncer de mama. Mantener una <strong data-start=\"2107\" data-end=\"2210\">alimentaci\u00f3n saludable, actividad f\u00edsica regular, evitar el tabaco y el consumo excesivo de alcohol<\/strong> son h\u00e1bitos que contribuyen a la prevenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2259\" data-end=\"2496\">La detecci\u00f3n temprana no solo salva vidas, sino que tambi\u00e9n <strong data-start=\"2319\" data-end=\"2377\">mejora las posibilidades de tratamiento y recuperaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.
