La iniciativa busca colocar la <strong>seguridad de las mujeres<\/strong> en el centro de la agenda p\u00fablica, combinando acciones policiales, prevenci\u00f3n comunitaria, atenci\u00f3n integral a v\u00edctimas e independencia econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<p>El PLP parte de un diagn\u00f3stico claro: en Costa Rica, <strong>ser mujer implica hoy mayores riesgos<\/strong> que van desde la violencia f\u00edsica y sexual hasta el acoso callejero y digital. Ante esto, la consigna \u201c<strong>Nosotras queremos vivir sin miedo<\/strong>\u201d se traduce, seg\u00fan el partido, en un conjunto de medidas espec\u00edficas para que las mujeres puedan desplazarse, trabajar y vivir en espacios m\u00e1s seguros.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cNosotras queremos vivir sin miedo\u201d: m\u00e1s presencia policial y barrios mejor vigilados<\/h2>\n<p>Entre los ejes centrales del plan del PLP est\u00e1 el <strong>refuerzo policial<\/strong>. La propuesta contempla llegar a <strong>20 000 polic\u00edas patrullando<\/strong>, con cuerpos de seguridad m\u00e1s cercanos a las comunidades y con \u00e9nfasis especial en zonas de riesgo para mujeres. La idea es que la frase \u201c<strong>Nosotras queremos vivir sin miedo<\/strong>\u201d se respalde con presencia policial real en calles, barrios y centros urbanos.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el partido plantea una mejora sustancial en la <strong>iluminaci\u00f3n de las v\u00edas p\u00fablicas<\/strong> y la implementaci\u00f3n de <strong>sistemas de videovigilancia callejera<\/strong>. En concreto, se propone reforzar la seguridad en <strong>rutas y paradas de autob\u00fas<\/strong> mediante c\u00e1maras, y asegurar que espacios como parques y zonas abiertas cuenten con infraestructura adecuada para disuadir agresores y facilitar la reacci\u00f3n inmediata de las autoridades.<\/p>\n<h3>Programa Vivir Sin Miedo y bot\u00f3n de p\u00e1nico: \u201cNosotras queremos vivir sin miedo\u201d tambi\u00e9n en el espacio p\u00fablico<\/h3>\n<p>Uno de los componentes clave es el <strong>Programa Vivir Sin Miedo<\/strong>, orientado espec\u00edficamente a la <strong>prevenci\u00f3n de la violencia contra las mujeres<\/strong>, con foco en <strong>zonas urbano-marginales y rurales<\/strong>, donde la combinaci\u00f3n de pobreza, falta de servicios y baja presencia institucional incrementa la vulnerabilidad. El objetivo es trabajar con comunidades, liderazgos locales y organizaciones sociales para detectar riesgos, acompa\u00f1ar a v\u00edctimas y desactivar c\u00edrculos de violencia.<\/p>\n<p>Paralelamente, el PLP propone la <strong>ampliaci\u00f3n del programa de botones de p\u00e1nico<\/strong> \u2014kits de emergencia con GPS\u2014 que hoy se dirigen principalmente a mujeres en alto riesgo de femicidio o violencia extrema. La propuesta busca que estos dispositivos no solo est\u00e9n en manos de v\u00edctimas identificadas, sino que tambi\u00e9n est\u00e9n disponibles en <strong>espacios p\u00fablicos como paradas de buses y parques<\/strong>, de modo que cualquier mujer pueda activar una alerta r\u00e1pida ante una situaci\u00f3n de peligro.<\/p>\n<h2>Red Ni Una Menos y Respeto On-Line: cercan\u00eda para denunciar y frenar el acoso<\/h2>\n<p>El plan incorpora la creaci\u00f3n de la <strong>Red Ni Una Menos<\/strong>, una <strong>red de oficinas de atenci\u00f3n y denuncia<\/strong> pensada para facilitar el acceso de las mujeres a mecanismos formales de protecci\u00f3n. La meta es que las v\u00edctimas no tengan que desplazarse largas distancias o enfrentar laberintos burocr\u00e1ticos, sino que cuenten con <strong>puntos cercanos para denunciar violencia y acoso<\/strong> y recibir acompa\u00f1amiento oportuno.<\/p>\n<p>El PLP tambi\u00e9n incluye el programa <strong>Respeto On-Line<\/strong>, dirigido a combatir la <strong>violencia y el acoso digital<\/strong>, una forma de agresi\u00f3n que se ha intensificado con el uso masivo de redes sociales y plataformas de mensajer\u00eda. La idea es desarrollar herramientas de denuncia, campa\u00f1as de sensibilizaci\u00f3n y coordinaci\u00f3n con instancias judiciales y de seguridad para que el entorno virtual no sea un territorio sin consecuencias para los agresores.<\/p>\n<h3>Hombres por la Igualdad: educar para cambiar la ra\u00edz de la violencia<\/h3>\n<p>Consciente de que la violencia contra las mujeres no se combate solo con polic\u00edas y leyes, el PLP plantea el programa <strong>Hombres por la Igualdad<\/strong>, enfocado en <strong>educar en el respeto, la igualdad y la no violencia hacia las mujeres<\/strong>. El prop\u00f3sito es promover <strong>masculinidades positivas<\/strong>, cuestionar patrones machistas y prevenir conductas agresivas desde la formaci\u00f3n temprana en hogares, escuelas y comunidades.<\/p>\n<p>Este componente busca que el mensaje \u201c<strong>Nosotras queremos vivir sin miedo<\/strong>\u201d sea tambi\u00e9n una invitaci\u00f3n directa a los hombres a asumir responsabilidad activa en el cambio cultural, dejando de ver la violencia como un \u201cproblema de mujeres\u201d y entendi\u00e9ndola como un tema de derechos humanos y convivencia democr\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cNosotras queremos vivir sin miedo\u201d: independencia econ\u00f3mica como eje de seguridad<\/h2>\n<p>El PLP subraya que la seguridad de las mujeres no se limita al patrullaje o a la denuncia, sino que pasa tambi\u00e9n por la <strong>independencia econ\u00f3mica<\/strong>. En muchos casos, la dependencia financiera es un factor que mantiene a las mujeres atrapadas en relaciones violentas. Por eso, el partido propone fortalecer la <strong>Red Nacional de Cuido y Desarrollo Infantil<\/strong> mediante la <strong>ampliaci\u00f3n de horarios<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Esta medida pretende facilitar la <strong>incorporaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s mujeres al mercado laboral<\/strong>, permiti\u00e9ndoles trabajar o emprender con la tranquilidad de que sus hijas e hijos est\u00e1n atendidos. El objetivo es romper los <strong>c\u00edrculos de violencia asociados a la dependencia econ\u00f3mica<\/strong> y avanzar hacia un empoderamiento real que haga posible, en la pr\u00e1ctica, que \u201c<strong>Nosotras queremos vivir sin miedo<\/strong>\u201d no sea solo un eslogan, sino una realidad cotidiana.<\/p>\n<h3>Protocolo Nacional de Coordinaci\u00f3n hacia la Mujer y ley contra la violencia vicaria<\/h3>\n<p>Para articular todas estas acciones, el PLP impulsa el <strong>Protocolo Nacional de Coordinaci\u00f3n hacia la Mujer<\/strong>, una hoja de ruta que busca <strong>coordinar desde el Gobierno<\/strong> las acciones entre el <strong>sector seguridad<\/strong>, el <strong>\u00e1mbito judicial<\/strong>, el <strong>sector social<\/strong> y la <strong>Asamblea Legislativa<\/strong>. La meta es ofrecer una <strong>respuesta integral<\/strong> a la criminalidad y a la violencia, evitando que cada instituci\u00f3n act\u00fae de forma aislada.<\/p>\n<p>El partido tambi\u00e9n resalta la aprobaci\u00f3n de la <strong>ley contra la violencia vicaria<\/strong>, respaldada por el PLP. Este tipo de violencia se da cuando el agresor no ataca directamente a la mujer, sino que <strong>da\u00f1a a personas o bienes que ella ama<\/strong> \u2014por ejemplo, hijos e hijas\u2014 con el fin de causarle sufrimiento.
